This is a resin modeling kit that has everything you need to get started. There are different sets to choose from. All contain epoxy resin, pigments and molds. I've tried a number of coasters. This kit contains two 8 ounce bottles of resin labeled A and B. You mix the resin in equal volumes and stir for 5 minutes. You then have about 40 minutes of working time before the resin starts to harden. Complete curing in approx. 24 hours. This set also includes 4 coaster molds, each about 4 inches in diameter, 12 pigment powders, bronze, silver and gold plating, several 100ml disposable mixing cups, several small disposable mixing cups, several popsicle sticks and several disposable gloves. I think this set is good for beginners. It has everything you need to make beautiful coasters. This is a project where you can just open the box and get started. After half an hour your coasters are ready to harden. This is a great choice for those just getting started with resin sculpture.
