Was looking for an iPad Pro case that could hold an Apple Pencil in the case; I didn't want to risk it slipping out of the outer contour when traveling or getting it out of the school bag. Other cases on the market seemed too plastic and tasteless to me. I just wanted a simple and classy black and this case delivers! The cutouts for the Apple Pencil are streamlined and precise, and there's enough room to hide the adapter with it. There doesn't seem to be enough room to hold an Apple Pencil in either grip - it fits just right. When the Apple Pencil is stored in the case, the Smart Cover still covers the entire iPad screen - this is an issue I've seen among other cases here. The body of the case itself is made of soft rubber/plastic that feels solid. and protective. The smart cover is magnetic and the magnets seem to work well. The inside is made of gray-beige microfiber and the outside is made of soft, matte silicone. The entire case is matte except for the power and volume buttons. Upon receipt and unpacking, it smelled neither of plastic nor of chemicals. All in all, I really like this case. I only received it today but it has already shown great quality for the price. I researched so many others here on Amazon but none of them met my specific criteria until I found this one. It's thin, minimal, unstructured, soft, contains an apple pencil, feels and looks sophisticated, and at a great price!
