I bought these road bike pedals that I attach to a stationary spinner. It is convenient to just stop on the pedals without having to put on and fasten shoes without clips. The clipless pedals I used made my shoes slip forward during exercise. I had to constantly readjust the position of my feet on these pedals. With these pedals, every shoe I use stays in place throughout my workout! I'm glad I found this type of pedal. I'll reinstall my clip when I'm back on the road. These pedals are now becoming the standard for spinning!
