I've seen reviews saying it was difficult to install or that you were forced to subscribe to some stupid security company or something. Fortunately, none of this was true. Installation was easy, it took me about 20 minutes to get all three devices up and running. And most of the time it's just waiting for the devices to initialize and connect to each other. The installation was as follows: 1. Open the box, you will see two satellite devices, 1 router. (They are marked as such with a temporary shell but also have permanent markings on the underside).2. Connect the ethernet cable from my current (ISP provided) router/modem to the new router. Then connect it to the power.3. Wait until the front panel indicator flashes cyclically and turns blue.4. Plug in two satellite units (to power) and let them go about their business until their lights turn blue (I did this when they were all just sitting next to each other in the same room).5. On my phone, connect to the wi-fi network they broadcast (network ssid and password are on the bottom of the router). 6. Open the browser on your phone and go to the address indicated on the installation card that was in the box.7. The website asked me to download and install their phone app, but I declined. Maybe they're trying to sell you some kind of security package there? 8. Follow the instructions on the page to set up devices (set an admin password, etc.).9. Then really login to the router (in your browser, on your phone, same address as before. Use the password you just set). 10. For the sake of simplicity I decided to name my network after the exact name of my old network. So first I logged into my old router as well and turned off both WiFi networks it was broadcasting (2.4 and 5 GHz). And then I set up a Wi-Fi network on the new router with the same name and password. Note. Of course, if you rename the new Wi-Fi network or give it a different password, you'll need to update every device in your house that you want to connect to it to have a new name and password. password.11. I had to wait a few minutes for all of the devices in my house to connect to the network (about 50 devices), but they all connected just fine.12. Now there is full strength Wi-Fi signal everywhere in my house.
