CIIE AND THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT FOR ENTREPRENEURS
Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship, (CIIE) is an Incubator platform that serves to bolster and empower start up enterprises with solutions. They essentially support these start ups in their early stages and supports them till they’re able to make the impact they should. With state of the art infrastructure, training programs and access to investors and partner’s.
You get access to workshops and coaching support too. For investment the startups receive venture capital to scale up quickly. Entrepreneurs can also get access to research and data tools which are very important factors that entrepreneurs need. CIIE is based in India. CIIE can be seen as one of India’s leading incubator systems promoting the entrepreneurship in the country through its various, programs and initiatives.
The incubator company is mostly interested in the IT, Cleantech, Health and Education sectors, and so far it has helped over 500 startups across the sectors. The stats are not bad and one can even day it is quite impressive. From what I know about the company, there is some sort of governmental backing.
For now, the Centre for Innovation Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CIIE) is based in India and I have no idea if they will be willing to expand into a more globally oriented position.
