Hello. History/Background: My PS4 started having problems after I decided to open it up and clean it after years of listening to this jet fan. I thought the cleaning went smoothly, but it looks like I lost the Bluetooth connection when trying to put the case back on. I didn't really want to use the soldering option, and it was also a cheaper alternative. Installation: I just installed it, it took some time and care to install. Overall, this really solved the issues I was having like the controller disconnecting, locking when trying to move, and only erratic movement anywhere unless I positioned myself right next to the PlayStation 4. The only problem that I had was the side that has two holes in the picture. The second hole was supposed to be level with the hole opposite, but instead it was slightly higher. This led to difficulties placing the piece on the PS4 itself. It required some maneuvering and maneuvering to put it on. I was honestly afraid I was going to break the part as it's quite fragile, but luckily I managed to force it in (be very careful if you have to do this). Alternative solution: If you are having issues like the ones listed above and don't want to struggle with opening your PS4, you can always try playing from a USB connection. This worked for me before I received my replacement. The only issue with this is that my system fan is still noisy so when playing with friends it was difficult to hear the background noise in our shooters and you need a long enough USB cable to play comfortably. Many Thanks.
