Perfect length and great fit
I bought this dress in white as a base for a costume. I'm 5'3.5 and it is just a tad too long - a half inch wedge would probably make it perfect, but it's definitely manageable in flats. The gathering at the front had the right amount of fullness without being bulky; same with the skirt - it has enough fullness to keep from having that maxi skirt cling around the hips. Also love the fabric - it's higher quality than the t-shirt-type fabric you often see in maxi dresses.My only hesitation is that the skirt is not lined; it's a nice thickness and I'm happy with it, but I'll also be wearing a full nude slip to avoid lines/clinging when moving. It's more obvious in white; I'd probably still wear a slip if it was in black.
