Review on 15-Pack of Yellow Wilson Ultra 500 Golf Balls by Shane Minter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big Ball. Unmatched Value.

I am a bogey golfer. Play twice a week. My goal is to shoot in the 80s. Sometimes yes sometimes no. I hit my driver at about 220 yards on average. If this sounds like your game, you can check out this review. I was playing Titleist DT TruSoft. Yellow. I bought the Wilson because they were cheap and yellow. I planned to use them on holes where I could lose the ball. I am SO impressed with these Wilsons. Here's the gist. My game is no different than Titleist. No one. In fact, it can even be a little longer than a tee. I'll use up the rest of Titleist and then probably stick with Wilson. No more changing balls between holes. At $0.64 per ball versus $1.83 per title, the thought of losing the ball is no longer an issue. Especially if there is no difference in performance. For me that is the most important question. If balls didn't work the same way I wouldn't be writing this. Finally, the ball feel is excellent. This is not one of those cheap and hard balls on the market. It feels pleasantly soft on contact. But not soft like some ultra-low compression balls. I don't know how Wilson made it at this price point, but I'll definitely stock up.
