I've always been concerned about water getting into my diesel due to the capless design on my 2013. R.A.M. This cap allays my fears a bit. The o-ring (with a spare provided) fits snugly, and the smaller knurled handle on top makes it easy to remove. Finishes and overall quality are excellent.
