These mugs advertise hand protection rather than keeping liquids warm. I wanted a mug with a resealable lid to keep hot tea hot. I make hot tea straight from the tea coffee maker every day at work. It gets so hot you can't drink it right away. I poured water into this mug, closed the lid to make tea, went to drink after 5 minutes and was lukewarm. Extremely disappointing. I've been using a Dunkin Donuts recycled mug for months - the same mug - kept the tea HOT for at least 45 minutes. These cups are garbage. Maybe it's my fault for not reading the description over and over again - but it's a waste of time - a regular open coffee cup will retain heat longer. Very dissatisfied!
