Review on 🚪 Enhanced Front Left Soft Close Door Lock Actuator 51217185689 for BMW F10 F11 F02 F04 (Front Left) by Matt Simpson

Installed on my 2011 BMW 550i where the passenger side remote locking mechanism stopped working. It hurt when I had to reach over the passenger seat to manually open the passenger door every time someone else was with me. However, the setup is not trivial. Not the fault of this product. This is the "German art of engineering" of the BMW door mechanics. Whoever designed the BMW door mechanism went to the beer garden too often during working hours. I was able to get enough information about the installation from the YouTube video, but I still had to find out a few things myself. Now that I've replaced the mechanism on both doors, it's not that bad. And it saved me AT LEAST $1,000 when I did it at the dealer or another body shop. In summary, I highly recommend this product.
