We bought this gate system to keep our pup in the paddock on the patio. It also helps to keep the toddler grandson engaged lol! So far it's been perfect. I give four stars for durability. As you can see in the attached photo, my clever husband screwed blocks of wood into the frame of our gazebo and then attached a gate system to the blocks. It's strong, but will most likely attach more strongly to real door frames. We don't let our grandchildren "hang" on it or shake it back and forth. I've also included a photo to show the tiny piece of rust mentioned in some reviews. This grate is on both sides of the gate below. It doesn't matter much to us. After all, we use it outside. Finally I dared and ordered this article as an "open box". According to the description, the packaging was slightly damaged. It wasn't a deal breaker for us so I would advise others to take a chance with "open box" items. If you are not satisfied, you can always return it!
