Installation was easy and quick. solved my problem The garage door slammed violently, especially when opened at high speed as the cart passed the pivots in the drive screw. When looking at the old part, there was clear wear and tear on the internal gearing. The original lasted 15 years so I can't complain. I kept the old car "just in case". If this replacement snaps, as several people have, the new gear CAN be removed and reinstalled in the original bogie body. This somehow solves my problem, but it's been 2 weeks and still no sign of a hack! Significantly cheaper than replacing the entire share!
