Review on Pyramid Lined Cable Housing Roll by Anferny Pineda

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Housing in good condition

Inner lining seems smooth. The outer layer may not be the strongest, it cuts and peels more easily than others I use. When I grind a cut cable to a square end with a rotary sander, neither the inner jacket nor the outer jacket melts as easily, which is a great bonus! The brakes have a positive feel on this body, not soft. Some casing brands cut cleanly and the inner coil seems to "crack", other brands cut with a large crack and twist in the inner coil. This variety has a curved cut and will need to be filed or sanded to remove the curved cut. Trimming a curved cut with side cutters easily cuts through the outer shell and pulls out more material than usual. It's easier to grind and file than some other brands and is easy to bevel. The outer sleeve does not adhere to the inner spool as tightly as some brands, so care and attention is required when sealing with the tip to avoid accidentally tearing the outer sleeve off the spool. it's too early for me to know) but the color is great and the feel is actually very good and for the price it should be 5 stars so I gave it 4 stars.
