I have owned 4 Shark Missiles over the years, have used 3 for business and kept 1 for personal use. I recently moved across the country and decided to sell most of my belongings and start over. One of the most important things for me is a vacuum cleaner. I used to buy my Shark rocket new, but chose this 'refurbished' one because it was almost half the price of a brand new one. I only give her 3 stars ONLY because she is light and agile. light and also shows brush marks when the carpet has been vacuumed. However, the suction power is terrible and not at all what I was used to from my previous rocket sharks, I had to walk around 3-4 times to pick up small crumbs. I moved into an apartment with over 1200 square meters. Foot which is mostly carpeted except kitchen and bathroom like my last house in 5 years. In my last home I vacuumed almost every day as I have small children and had to empty the dust box at least once about halfway through. This refurbished vacuum cleaner comes with obviously used and not very well cleaned filters (photos taken before use) and the dust bin is not very full at all (photo after). I have attached photos for reference. In case you're wondering, I haven't vacuumed anything that would clog the wand and/or brush, which happens when you vacuum things that need to be collected first :). I did not check the lock before using it assuming it was up to date which has already been done. But I tested the blockage by disassembling the vacuum cleaner after use to make sure it wasn't before writing this review. Can't return it because it was cheap and works as well as other vacuums in this price range ($70+). I will update after making a decision but I want to start with just buying a new one at full price and not risking this updated one.
