Review on Dogtra ARC Remote Training Collar by Amber Byrd

Two days of battery life gone, still green. Please use these collars under the guidance of an experienced obedience trainer when used correctly. This is an electronic collar recommended by my obedience trainer as she is past her years and still works perfectly. I'm usually wary when it comes to e-collars because people can use them for animal cruelty, but this was a last resort for me and my dog after his behavior progressed and he bit someone. Our state has a 3-hit limit for dog bites, and potential litigation and attorney fees for each hit made this option, combined with a muzzle, essential. This helps avoid putting my little boy (dog) to sleep. I love my boy and this helps me to give him a better life while avoiding hurting other people. While his aggression is on a leash, and off a leash at the dog park he loves everyone, dogs and people, but it gives me peace of mind that if he ever rips the leash out of my hand, I won't care and I will control it. I want to share my experiences with my dog. In case anyone is considering this collar and has a dog exhibiting aggressive behavior similar to mine. Collars aren't evil, just use the right guide and ask your obedience trainer if it's right for you and your dog.
