Review on πŸ”Œ Inateck Superspeed 7 Port PCI-E to USB 3.0 Expansion Card - 5 Front USB 3.0 Ports and 2 Rear USB 3.0 Ports, Express Card Desktop with 15 Pin SATA Power Connector, Includes Two Power Cables (KT5002) by Scott Welch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

KEEP IN MIND: 2 of 7 ports work

I purchased an Inateck Superspeed PCI-E to USB 3.0 7-port expansion card - 5 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back panel des Express February 29, 2016 I installed the card and drivers and connected 2 USB hard drives, which worked fine. My mistake was that I didn't verify that each USB port was working. A few days ago when I bought another USB drive for my Plex server and all other ports (5) were down when I connected the hard drive. I tried the USB stick and the phone cord to see if I got power and nothing. I contacted support and explained the problem, but since the warranty has expired, I can't get a replacement. That tells me the card is cheaply made and will fail over time. I am thankful that none of my hard drives were damaged. I will buy another brand. Stay away.
