Review on Garmin Approach S40: Stylish GPS Golf Smartwatch - Lightweight and Touchscreen Display in Gray/Stainless Steel by Kevin Witherspoon

I needed a new golf GPS after my golf friend held his breath. After trying out an old Garmin GPS watch at a friend's, I decided to buy one for myself. Revane didn't have new stock of the model he owned, so I upgraded to the next level: the Approach S40. So far I've been very happy with its performance. I played three different courses and each loaded very quickly, much faster than my old GPS. Two of the courses I play are 27 holes and this can cause unique issues on some GOS devices, but the S40 works fine. It seems pretty accurate compared to other players' laser range finders. I like that it shows the distance to hazards and also has different styling options. It tracks well and works with the Garmin app for my iPhone. It also tracks steps, sleep hours, and more. But the most important thing for me is GPS for golf. The battery life is longer than my previous device and I started using it as a wristwatch, dropping my old Citizen watch. Time will tell how long the battery lasts but from what I've read the reports look good. So the money is well spent for now.
