I bought this on November 30, 2015, today is September 16, 2017. This lamp has been working about 15 hours a day the whole time. and it's still going strong. I'm using it to grow cacti and some more mature cacti while waiting to create a more permanent habitat after my upcoming move. In the spring I also use it to grow vegetables and sunflowers. I have a tobacco plant that sits on a dresser about halfway between the window and this lightbulb that screws into a standard medium sized desk lamp, the tobacco plant is constantly growing aggressively towards the lightbulb. I can only recommend it because of the long service life and the low price.
