I have a 97 Nissan Maxima with a power antenna. Bought because I didn't want to spend money to buy a whole new power antenna assembly. Our antenna broke when it was fully powered up. Removing the device from the car was not difficult. Just be careful and pay attention to how the antenna motor is disassembled. Also, make sure you get a good night's sleep the night before, as setting it up in a build can and probably will be a test of your composure. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and enjoy doing things yourself, this is a great way to fix a broken power antenna. If you don't feel like DIY, you can spend over $50 extra to buy the entire power antenna assembly and bypass the possible DIY headache.
