I was a skeptic but this type of connector works!

I was a bit skeptical about this style of fork. In the past I've either used the rope style or removed the tire and patched it from the inside (or have them do the business for me). a few thousand km). I've recently started using tire balance balls (which work well for me) and didn't want to mess with removing and reassembling them, so I decided to try this type of patch to avoid it. I was concerned because I used soapy water to check right after installing the patch and there was very little bubbles around the patch I was sure my TPMS light would come on in a few days! Fortunately this is not the case. The plug was inserted for some time and no air leakage occurred. I can only assume that it took very little time for the silicone or rubber plug to expand or shrink completely after being deformed by the mounting tube?
