Full disclaimer* I have no idea who sent this to me. ebay said I might have received it for free in exchange for a review but they can't say/ I don't know.Anyway, thanks to whoever sent it cause my 4 year old loves it! He has a speech delay and this set actually works well for him. He can take his time making the sound of each letter while also pronouncing the word and spelling it. It's a great hands-on learning experience that the he can control. The words are easy enough for him to not get overwhelmed (he gets easily frustrated). He has been taking the initiative to pull this set out and work on it on his own. If you have a preschooler who's working on spelling, sounding words out to prepare for reading, or even pronouncing words this is a great set.There are 2 of each letter that are thick wood. The cards are double sided sturdy thin plastic. it also comes with a little bag to keep it all together. Overall I really like this set and definitely recommend it.
