Works out of the box with straight forward directions for anyone that needs them. Nice thing is only the inputs need to be switched with the remote. All outs are always functioning. A very sturdy box and after a long while plugged in there is no heat coming off the box at all.The box only comes with USB and optical cables which both can be plugged into the TV (if your TV has USB ports). If not, can use a common android plug to use an electrical outlet.
