I had to give my friend a gift. She loves beautiful things (not all of us) and she loves to cook and would appreciate something useful. Of course, being vegan and eating a gluten-free diet, it was impossible to find a gift that met all of these criteria. Until I discovered this product. (I bought one for myself first) It's AMAZING! Judging by the packaging, it arrived faster than stated. The box is beautiful, with a clean, fresh design and a modern vibe. The spice grinders are actually bigger than I thought which is a plus for me as I feel like it's a larger gift and they were bubble wrapped. . They appear to be very durable and of excellent quality - the glass is actually very clear and not flimsy at all. Now for the best part - I'm a fan of fresh food. You know people who never buy anything, even slightly dried or not the freshest? (I buy all my fruit and veg from the farm to give away at the farmer's market, and I keep throwing away food that might seem perfectly acceptable to everyone but me.) . It seems to me that they do not sit for a minute - there is no dust at the bottom of the pepper grinder and a strong spicy aroma. Himalayan salt is beautiful, perfect pale pink crystals peeping out of the clear glass, it's love at first sight. This is the perfect gift for yourself or someone you love. And if I'm sounding a bit rambunctious, forgive me, because I just ate whole wheat toast and avocado with FRESHLY ground pepper and Himalayan sea salt. uhh. bliss.
