Our house has an integrated smart home system and we need to change the lightbulbs in our children's room, so we decided to give it a try. At 800 lumens they are brighter than I expected, the bright white light makes it a comfortable reading light and the warm white is better for reading. Our 2 year old was fascinated by the color changing of the light and always asked to play in his teepee tent under the blue light. There were only 2 bulbs in the box and 1 step instructions. The initial connection to my iPhone is very good and the Sylvania app is simple and intuitive (not to be confused with their Wi-Fi app). The connection seems to be holding up very well in the last few days. Only time will tell if they last as long as our HUEs. As an added bonus, the bulb has been pre-synced to our Alexa account and all we have to do is screw it into the socket to use the new bulbs.
