This is a precision instrument, no. But it's enough for one-time use. When it arrived I had to disassemble the reamer and clean the tool of "blackness and dirt" (probably sanding dust), oil it and reassemble it for use. I liked that I could adjust the diameter and gradually increase the size of the hole until I got the right fit.
