Did the job. no complaints

Excellent product. Came with a mason mallet the right size for the screws. So far I've inserted about a dozen of these with no problems. If this is your first time fastening something to a gig, cinder block, brick, etc. then: - Find out what you are fastening before you buy screws. Purchase the correct screw size for each item. Screw size should be 1 to 1-3/4 inch in concrete. The reason for this is that you need at least an inch for the screw to hold. The maximum depth is determined by the leading edge of the screw cutting into the concrete and must not be more than 1-3/4". If this happens, the screw may break, causing problems that are often associated with abuse Screw this area in considering the thickness of your item - know that the material you are inserting it into will hold your item. If it's obvious, do it. If you have any doubts, you can research it or ask someone who knows - Use a hammer drill and carbide tipped drill bits that are the correct size for the screw This item comes with the correct attachment, but you can search the web for "Conset Nozzle Size" for this information if needed If you don't have a puncher. Well worth the investment. Get a decent tool. Not cheap. I use it a lot and not just for concrete. the end of the sh be rob I usually tape the bit at the correct bit depth so I know where to stop. - Let the punch do the work (i.e. apply light pressure) and clean out the hole about every 1/2 inch. Clean the hole before inserting the screw. You will find that everything is much easier than you thought. And above all, don't forget to have fun.
