and they work great. I started drilling my holes with.

I recently installed about 175 of these screws and they work great. I started drilling my holes with a slightly worn SDS bit in my masonry drill. I broke the SDS bit after about 125 holes so I switched to the new bit (included) in a different shot. After that, the screws began to work much softer. I would recommend getting a new nozzle right away and making it easier on yourself. I used a Makita 18V impact wrench with a 5/16" hex bit to drive these bolts. it worked.

Bought a box of 100 ΒΌ x 3 ΒΌ to attach 2 x 4 (flat side) to concrete through 1x4 standoffs (total wood thickness = 2 ΒΌ"). I drilled a hole deep Enough I've seen about 50% failures where the threads of the bolts have worn down to the point where the bolts just spin freely.I used an impact wrench at first but it was only able to on 2 bolts out of 20 fully "insert" the screw. Most times I've resorted to a ratchet and hand tightened it and still had a high failure rate so I ran off and bought a few…

If this is your first time fastening something to a gig, cinder block, brick, etc. then: - Find out what you are fastening before you buy screws. Purchase the correct screw size for each item. Screw size should be 1 to 1-3/4 inch in concrete. The reason for this is that you need at least an inch for the screw to hold. The maximum depth is determined by the…
