Taste is normal as far as dairy-free protein powder is concerned. However, despite claiming to be gluten-free, it's also made in a shatter facility and contains barley grass and wheat grass. Although herbs are technically gluten-free, there is a high risk of cross-contamination, which is why I avoid it. I didn't realize this when I first read the ingredients list and the sticker was above the allergen warning label so I didn't see it until I read the list for a friend. So far I haven't gotten sick, a bit stuffed (originally I blamed almond milk but now I think it's not) but I'm a bit disappointed that what claims to be gluten free might not so is. Since my insides can flare up, I'll serve it to my kids, but I won't be ordering it again.
