"Almost" perfect for me. The dome is big enough to cover a plate of spaghetti and the width is decent for "most" plate sizes, but for me an extra inch of width would be perfect. However, it is not wide enough to completely cover my plate without touching the rim, but also not narrow enough to sit on the plate without being slightly crooked on one side. I'm very happy with the handle, vents, and the lid itself, but I had to order a wider one just to be a little bit happier. Make no mistake in what I say, it's wider than most, just a tad short for me. And the dome is the tallest of those I've seen in my research.
