Firstly I would like to say this is a dangerous candle warmer as it has the poorest insulation I have ever seen. It really is a role of dice to see if this will actually catch fire. I have used this for about a month and here are some suggestions I recommend using if you actually want to remodel this.1. Change the gauge of the wire. This copper crap wiring conducts well but so does the very poor connections inside. Its like you used aluminum for this.2. Insulation. The entire base is burning hot and it doesn't transfer the heat well to this very thick bowl (or the wax holder)3. Change the switch for turning on the wax melter or just remove it entirely to avoid a fire. it would be a monitoring thing for each customer to be mindful to unplug the device after they finished using it. Its probably for people to forget and leave it running for hour and hours and totally forgetI haven't had a fire like some of the other reviewers but as soon as I noticed mine was getting excessively hot I took it apart and noticed the insulator was burnt.overall its a roll of dice but its likely this will fail.
