Review on Highly Reliable Waveshare Industrial USB to RS485 Converter with Original FT232RL: Enhanced Protection Circuits, Fuse, ESD & TVS Diode by John Invert
Problems with RS485 in power converters
Although several other USB<->RS485 adapters work with the same computer and devices, I have not been able to get the Waveshare adapter to work with any RS485 device. RS232 worked as expected.
