Well I've been a Dalstrong fan for years but that's starting to fade. Don't get me wrong, they've always had phenomenal customer support and packaging, but the last few knives I've received compare to the ones I bought a few years ago, their "finished" products are just inferior . as excellent as they were. Either standards are falling or quality control is failing. Knives now have handle scratches, and the stabilized wood surface has many small scratches in multiple directions. It is quite clear that this is a cut that was either done incorrectly or simply not finished. It certainly doesn't look like a finished product. Having worked with this material, I can say with confidence that it can be polished and will look much nicer and brighter than this one - besides, who grinds in two different directions?
