Review on 🚲 Ventura Economical Bolt-On Bicycle Carrier Rack: Adjustable Fit for 26"/28"/700c Bikes - Steel, Black by Zane Myers

I can confirm what some other reviewers have said, this isn't all the hardware to install it. It took me a decent amount of work to install it on my Huffy bike. Here are the changes I had to make. The bracket on the crossbar had to be drilled in a larger hole as the normal screw didn't fit through. I ended up removing 2 of the 3 screws I had. The hex screw heads are very weak, I do not recommend using them. All hex screws replaced as I shorted out 3 of them anyway. So the size fits. The pillar side of the seat wasn't welded properly so I had to grind down the weld to install the seat bracket. Based on other reviews I have found that this is not the best quality. . However, building my own from scratch saved me a lot of work. I knew what I was getting myself into, so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. After securing it to the screws with heavier hardware and some Loctite, it was pretty solid. I don't recommend this particular rack if you're looking for something that just snaps in and goes.
