Excellent for soldering tinned copper straps on lithium ion batteries
This compound is excellent for soldering tinned copper straps on lithium ion batteries for e-bike batteries. I press it with a metal rod or screwdriver and heat it for a few seconds until it turns metallic. Apparently no problem with the isolated positive pole. I press down firmly on the sensitive center area of the negative terminal with a flat metal rod and heat each side of the tinned copper strip in turn until the molten solder flows.
