Having been working from home since the beginning of the pandemic, my coffee habits have changed and I am making a lot more coffee for myself at home. Since a French press was the only tool I had on hand to make coffee, the kettle was the perfect solution for getting hot water quickly. It boils quickly and a thermometer helps a lot, especially if you want to get the exact temperature of the water for your coffee or tea. It now sits regularly on my stove due to the frequency we use. On first use, I instinctively removed the small piece of rubber at the tip of the spout before use, then realized the heater water was boiling out of the spout, so be sure to hold this until you're ready to pour.
