Well made, thick base and easy to use. The thermometer is excellent; I always know when to turn off the burner. I'm glad I have a thermometer even though I'm not a barista expert. Just a home made coffee maker. The long, thin, curved spout is great for adjusting the pouring speed. It also looks great on the stove.

I use a Chemex coffee maker and I always get the perfect cup of coffee with this dripper. I can't imagine it's any different now! The thermometer was helpful as I prefer my water to be just below boiling point so I can pour it over the coffee grounds, let sit 3 minutes, then add the cream and head out the door. Very happy with the quality and functionality of this kettle!

Great product but terrible shipping packaging. The first was in an ordinary box, and the dial of the thermometer was dirty. In the photo is my second after the return of the first. It was not packed in an outer carton. The box was crumpled and torn. Somewhere along the way, a corner was sealed with duct tape. mail delivered.
