Ordered in September 2020. And after 4 months it started showing the door ajar. Only use the truck for heavy snow or towing and maybe open the tailgate 20-30 times to install. I found out a few times that my battery was low and although they were just bad batteries, until one day I heard the alarm go off and the dome light up. The doors were locked. This would turn on the ajar door light which would turn on the overhead lights until they expired. It then indicated the door was closing again and the cycle repeated killing my batteries. This seems to be a common problem with this lock.
