Had high hopes for it. After finding some random metal bristles from an old brush on my food, I tried switching to one to be safer for my guests. This thing is big and chunky and it sucks! I couldn't clean my gas weber q grill at all (it worked better on a charcoal weber). You can't get between the slots in the grate without using the corner of the brush and then the metal spool started falling apart at the corner and forming little PILES of little metal wires on my grill. Once this thing starts falling apart and gets compromised, watch out! At this point, it quickly falls apart and creates a big dangerous mess on your grill with TONS of metal wires. This defeats the whole purpose of choosing this instead of a brush. It doesn't fucking work for scavenging, and in my experience it's certainly no safer. I'm going back to brushing or maybe I'll try some of these pads next time. I'd rather use a crumpled up piece of foil than this thing.
