I was thrilled to give StarKist Online Store a try because of their guarantee of providing seafood that is both fresh and responsibly sourced. My experience, unfortunately, was not even close to being satisfactory. The seafood that was sent to me was of subpar quality and was not fresh in any way. It was clear that the Wild Caught Pink Salmon had been resting in storage for a considerable amount of time because it had a mushy texture and an unpleasant odor. Regarding the sustainability promises that they make, I was unable to locate any information on their website concerning the methods that they use for sourcing their products. My purchase had the potential to have a beneficial effect on the environment, but instead, I was left with a sense of disappointment and a sense that I had been misled. In general, I would not recommend StarKist Online Store to anyone looking for choices in seafood that is both of high quality and is obtained in a responsible manner.
