Kester solder is the best

Works great on all my small home soldering projects. I've used it on circuit boards and for connecting wires and it melts and flows great. I chose 63/37 solder because 63/37 solder is 63% tin and 37% lead. It has a melting point of 183Β°C, slightly lower than the more common 60/40 mix. Eutectic solders like 63/37 are easier to work with because they don't have a semi-solid point when melted like 60/40 solder. It's well worth the slightly higher cost if you're working with sensitive electronics. It works great with my Hakko FX888D-23BY digital soldering station, where I can choose the right temperature for each soldering project.
