Review on πŸ”§ Efficient and Convenient: EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump - Digital Tire Inflator by Cory Mosley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really good air pump that will save you time and effort.

I should have bought this pump a long time ago, it would have saved me so much time and effort. I check my tire pressure regularly and mostly do it at home, not at gas stations. I already have two air pumps but I lost one. The other is the one that came with my NSX NA1 and is used to inflate a small curved mini spare tire. This is a very small unit. I use this little air pump as I couldn't find my other one. I have multiple cars and am tired of unpacking and stuffing this air pump into the tiny storage space in the trunk. The pump gets hot after use so I have to wait for it to cool down before I pack it again. I gave up looking for my other pump so I looked to Revain for a tire pump. Of course I read the reviews and chose the one that had the most reviews and stars as possible. That's a really good move. I have various tire pressure sensors because I have a bike with a valve stem that is difficult to check properly. My other pumps don't have this auto stop feature. That means I have to guess how much air pressure I'm pumping into the tires and turn off the air pump. Then I check the tire pressure with a pressure gauge. If the air pressure is not enough, I should pump more and check again. If the air pressure is too high, I have to bleed some air and check again. It's such a labor intensive process. With this new pump, I simply set the desired air pressure and turn it on. The pump just stopped at a certain pressure. When I first used it, I followed the sensor like a hawk. The air pump reached the set pressure and continued pumping for a few seconds before stopping. On the fourth tire, the pressure stopped half a pound per square inch over the set value. I just unscrew the hose fitting and let some air out. The beauty of this air pump is that the built in digital pressure gauge shows the air pressure as long as it is connected. I don't even need a pressure gauge. The other pump I couldn't find also has an air pressure gauge, but it's an analog gauge which is useless as the needle jumps while the pump is running. The reason the needle jumps is because the air pump itself jumps. This EPAuto air compressor pump will not jump. It stands on four rubber feet and runs quite quietly. Significantly quieter than my other pumps. There is a light on the pump which is nice. It can be used as a flashlight as long as it is plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. Thanks to the built-in digital pressure gauge, I can connect the air pressure pump and check the tire pressure. The displays are easy to read. This air pump can eliminate the need for a separate pressure gauge and flashlight. There are a few things that could be improved. The pump itself is fine. The storage bag is allowed to be a little larger, and there should be a small pocket for accessories inside the storage bag. These small accessories can easily get lost. I wanted to put it in a small bag but I've already lost it. I'll have to look for it later, there's a spare fuse in there.
