Review on Diamond Porcelain Hole Saw Extractor by Ken Reed

They fit but you need water

When renovating a bathroom I used the smallest to poke some holes in a very large tile. They heat up very quickly, which is to be expected, so you'll need a product to keep them moist. If you keep your hole saw blade wet (and therefore cool) they work very well. I was able to make about 9 holes until the bit I was using wore through the abrasive. For $9 this kit was more than satisfactory, but if I hadn't kept the blade cool it probably wouldn't have worked with the first one. This kit only includes drill bits for holes and does not include anything to keep the blade in place or conveniently add water while using the product. There are products that come with a hole saw guide and some also have a water channel. You can also make your own channel - I did this by cutting a piece of wood with a wood hole saw wide enough for these tile/glass hole saws to fit the wood guide. Working on a flat surface, I could glue the wood with glue and pour water into the channel. When I was working on the wall I bought an extra guide that allowed the reservoir to be filled with water seeping onto the blade and trapping the water under the blade. That was great. Be smart about what you buy. Know what you're getting yourself into.
