I bought them in 2016 and had problems from the start. Some of the needles were done wrong at the joint so they wouldn't thread onto the cord. There are no connectors to extend cords for larger items like blankets, so over time I had to order longer cords and a set of "short point" needles from Denise as I couldn't make hats with this set (this one Set there are cable connectors if you are interested). The size is marked on the needles, but will be erased over time. If you are using multiple needles for different works of the same size (e.g. US 7 or US 8), be careful not to mix them up when deleting the design. Eventually one of the spokes, US 4, broke in a metal joint. It was a very clean crack, but some of the wood is stuck in the joint so I can't even glue it back on. I just ordered a replacement Clover set because I really solved all the problems this set gave me (with the bonus that it has cable connectors to make larger cables). I have Clover's DPN and a couple of smaller Clover Avenues (they have tiny 9" sock avenues) that I like and they have a good build, so I'm hoping I won't be disappointed with the set when it gets here. If you need a set that will work overtime, this Knitter's Pride set really isn't for you. Replacement needles and extra cords for this Knitters Pride set can be found at the Hobby Lobby for around $7 to $11, depending on size. Personally, I don't like spending a lot of money on a kit just to turn around and buy more to make the kit work for me, but I do want to mention that there are multiple retail options for big brands (as opposed to the niche, independent yarn stores , which may or may not be in your area) when it comes to this set, which is not the case for replacement sets from many other brands.
