The fan only blew in position 3 and 4. Not in positions 1 and 2. For many years. Installation would have taken 10 minutes but when I went to install I found that the cable connector socket was also burned. So I had to order a cable socket. Based on my experience and what I've read, it's EXTREMELY likely that if you need to replace this, you'll also need a cable connector. You may want to pull out the cable connector. from you and take a look before you order this part only. I bet it's fried too.
