Very strong and adjustable projector mount

I needed a mount for my new BenQ TK850 projector and this mount was just what the doctor ordered. As you can see from the photos I have wooden beams running through my room. I was hoping to hang the projector directly from the bottom of the beam, but the required distance from the screen to the projector was only a few inches further. This Vantage Point mount allowed me to move the projector away from the screen just the right amount. Although you must measure carefully to ensure the center of the projector lens (rather than the projector body) is perfectly aligned with the left and right centers of the screen, this mount also allows for easy left-right adjustments. Before purchasing this mount, I noticed from the reviews that some buyers can't figure out how to assemble it. No doubt the included assembly instructions are very basic, but if you look at the assembly picture on the box and compare it to the instructions, everything should become clearer. I was also concerned about whether the mount would snap in enough to keep it from sagging over time. Don't worry because once you find the correct position, there is a hex key head "set screw" that you tighten on the joint. A hex wrench and screw are included. By the way, adjusting the position of the projector in the bracket is quite simple. Simply loosen the screw in the appropriate lever just enough to insert the projector, then tighten. I was able to do it myself, but another person could make assembly a bit easier. I had 3 previous projectors with 3 different mounts. The Vantage Point mount proved to be the easiest and cheapest to install. I am very happy with the BenQ TK850 mount and projector.
