Not as versatile as they make it out to be.

The maximum screw size for projector mounting is 5mm (M5). The Optoma UHD65 (and possibly the UHD60) have M6 mounting screws, therefore it is not possible to mount the projector to this bracket with the supplied hollow set screws. It comes with (and accepts) 2.6mm, 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm mounting screws. The 6mm M6 bolt does not go through the set screws. Using washers and washers instead of the included set screws worked for me on this mount, although adjustment was a bit more difficult than if I…

The mount will not disappoint you.

Easily holds the large Epson 5040UB projector. We used it to mount a projector above our bedroom bed, so we needed something we didn't have to worry about breaking and crushing with a £25 projector. Installation was very easy and supported many different options. I would definitely recommend this mount to anyone mounting a projector with tricky wall or ceiling angles. I don't have any vibration problems. The links in this one are very strong and will stay right where I placed them. That might…

Make sure you only have three mounting positions and not four

This mount is perfect for what I need. It is easy to assemble and very flexible in positioning as it is designed to rotate around multiple axes. I thought it had four mounting points when I saw the crisscrossing levers in the photo, but the mount only has hardware for three holes. . It also won't fit a 34lb projector like the JVC RS540U without four brackets to get to all four mounting points. I left a message on the Vantage Point website and voicemail a day later but heard nothing. So now I…

Beautiful design - accessories and consumables

I chose this device because it can be mounted on the wall as well as on the ceiling. Appearance and technology too. This one looks way better than the others. The engineering is clearly being done by high-level senior experts. Each segment is secured with built-in set screws. Any angle is possible. I inserted a photo. This may seem strange because I installed it over a poster in my son's studio. Well, whoever orders it should know: there is a mount with wall/ceiling mounts. The included delay…

Reliable and flexible

I use it with my BenQ W1070 wall projector. This mount is strong and truly versatile; There are an incredible number of degrees of freedom. Once mounted on a stand in the wall, I was able to move the projector horizontally and vertically, and adjust horizontal and vertical tilt. Some adjustments can be a little tedious as they involve loosening the bolt with the supplied hex key, moving it around and locking the hex bolt again; However, it only took me an hour to set it up properly and I doubt…

This mount is incredibly powerful. It is made of large, heavy pieces of metal; In fact, it probably weighs more than

Very strong and adjustable projector mount

I needed a mount for my new BenQ TK850 projector and this mount was just what the doctor ordered. As you can see from the photos I have wooden beams running through my room. I was hoping to hang the projector directly from the bottom of the beam, but the required distance from the screen to the projector was only a few inches further. This Vantage Point mount allowed me to move the projector away from the screen just the right amount. Although you must measure carefully to ensure the center of…

Can't dial flat, awful manual

#1 If you're not used to doing something like this, I'd recommend doing it gradually. The last thing you want is for your hand/arm to start hurting when you're in a valuable part of the setup where you really can't stop! First, the manual says to pre-drill 5/32 holes 2 inches deep for the 3 screws that will be screwed into the wall studs. When I looked at the size of the bolts and how deep they were, I just knew he wasn't even going to cut them. And I was right. 5/32 was nowhere near a large…
