Doesn't fit right. Jump out now!

The heating element barely stretches to fit a screw but immediately pops out of the back because it's too short (less than 1/8 inch - so annoying. I cut myself and am 100% upset and disappointed I urge you not to buy from this company This is a basic 8" impulse sealer How difficult is it to get the correct measurements?
