It was a good idea and I think it's still good in a way. This is a decent sling and has a curved end. The reason I docked it to two stars was how to attach sandpaper to it. You get these two pieces of wood and then you need to pull the sandpaper taut and push in. There is also a rolling technique. You will see it in the instructions or some YouTube videos. The problem is that even if you get it right, the wooden blocks to be rubbed take the place of the sandpaper. Don't stay tense and jump out. As if they were too small. Not sure if mine is just defective or if they are all like that. I do like the cut ending though. I wish they only had leather instead of the sanding side. So I could just use different wording.
