I recently bought an F150 with a tow kit but no brake controller. With a little help from YouTubers I installed the brake control and used this OBD2 USB adapter to power it up. All said and done, it was a two hour project. I found two things that might help others: Install Forscan on your computer beforehand - there is a manual verification process that needs to be done before you can download the license. Then in Forscan under Settings > Connectivity set the MS-CAN support to "RTS Relay" which appears to allow this device to do the automatic switching needed to show all modules in Forscan.
